Glastonbury Frost Fayre is a wonderful event that takes place in Glastonbury in November.
Glastonbury High Street is closed to traffic and makes way for hundreds of stallholders selling all things magical. From fudge to ales to Crystals, something for everyone. A perfect place for Christmas shopping. There are also food stalls and great music.
The High Street is a delight for all the senses. The smells of incense, mulled cider, hog roast and exotic street food fill the cold air, sounds of happy people and musicians coming from all corners. There was a rainbow of colours from shop fronts, stalls, performers and the Glastonbury crowd itself.
Stalls sell an enormous range of clothes and crafts, candles and crystals, curiosities, and confectionery.
GlastonburyAbbey is open with free entry and children’s activities. Children’s fairground rides and face painting and a Santa’s Grotto.
The Glastonbury Frost Fayre is an annual event and well worth marking on your calendar for next year.
