The Middlewick is the ideal venue for most types of events for small or large groups. Over the last few years we have hosted: birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions, health & wellbeing retreats, spiritual retreats, special interest retreats, corporate team building events and conferences.
Events can range from 2 day sales meetings and conferences, to weekend long anniversary and wedding gatherings, through to 7 day health and well being retreats. Getting the dates you need, especially during the Spring, Summer, Christmas and New Year, means that planning in advance is essential. We often have events booked 12-18 months in advance so please do get in touch as soon as you think we might be a suitable venue.
Depending on your event requirements we can help with: organising, catering, event spaces, group accommodation and additional services as needed. Our team will be more than happy to discuss any preliminary plans you have.

We can sleep up to 70 people across our (16) cottages and glamping options assuming all bedrooms are fully occupied; Triple, Double, Twins and Singles. If, however, your profile needs each bedroom to have single occupancy then we can accommodate 29 people. In between there are many configurations that can be worked out to your needs.
In the Summer months we can cater for larger groups with luxury tents and toilet blocks in our fields.

Middlewick has 10 stone cottages, 2 log cabins, 1 Wooden Lodge and 3 Glamping E-dens that can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people. We also have the flexibility to accommodate more people if required during the summer months with luxury tents and toilet blocks in our fields.
Our cottages, cabins and glamping options are all different but share the same attention to detail. They are sensitively restored, carefully furnished and many feature original artworks. Look on the accommodation more as hotel suites than just rooms. All accommodation features luxury cotton bedding and soft white fluffy towels.
We have 3 group spaces that can be used for your event. These tend to be used by residential guests but we can sometimes offer day rates if you are looking for a space to hire by the hour or by the day.
Our Hexagonal Timber Framed building can be used for yoga, dancing or sound baths for 12-16 people or alternatively for workshops, meditation or music for larger numbers.
We also have the Spa Lounge which is suitable for workshops, gatherings and less formal meetings. This room can seat 50 people.
Our large Farm Shop and Cafe can be hired exclusively for larger groups looking to host an event outside of our normal trading hours.

If you are a large group you will have no problems getting your tour bus or cars up to The Middlewick. We can accommodate large groups of up to 70 cars as well as full size coaches.
If you are driving then we are 20 minutes from the A303, half an hour from the M5 and 45 minutes from the M4.
If you are arriving by aeroplane then Bristol Airport is 30 minutes away.
