The Middlewick has been here at the base of Glastonbury Tor since 1656. The site was a working farm up until the 1980s, when it was converted to holiday accommodation. Over the years the pre-existing farmhouse, barns and outbuildings have been converted into stunning self-catering holiday accommodation cottages, and additional wooden cabins and glamping pods have joined the mix more recently. The Middlewick also boasts an on-site farm shop, café and a well-equipped spa with uniquely converted shepherd’s hut treatment rooms, indoor swimming pool, steam room, yoga building and event space.
We have 15 different properties to choose from within our extensive grounds. All our properties have facilities to allow you to be self-catering. We have an on site Farm Shop selling local produce as well as beer, wine and cider.
If self-catering is not for you, we have our award-winning Café that serves breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Included in all stays with us is free use of the indoor swimming pool and free high speed internet. You also have access to use the Spa Lounge during Spa opening hours (adults only).
Many of our properties are dog friendly.
Set within our grounds you will find our award winning café. The Middlewick Café serves local, seasonal, homemade meals 7 days a week.
Breakfast is from 8.30am until 11.30am and lunch is served from 12pm until 3pm. The Farm Shop is open daily from 8.30am until 4pm, selling local produce, beer, cider and wine as well as barista coffee and homemade cakes.
There are 70 seats inside and a further space for 70 to enjoy food outside on our patio or in our gardens. There’s plenty of car parking on site as well as disabled access.
The Spa at Middlewick is tucked away at the rear of the farm, with views of Glastonbury Tor. We offer beauty treatments as well as holistic massage and facials. Open Tuesday to Sunday
Our converted shepherds hut treatment rooms are nestled in behind the animal paddocks and barns. The Spa consists of a small indoor swimming pool and steam room as well as our relaxing Senary space and comfortable Spa Lounge.
The Spa is open to both residents and visitors, with a selection of relaxing day packages if you are not staying with us.
