The Middlewick Café Glastonbury

The Middlewick Cafe opened in 2022 on the site of the Middlewick Holiday Resort.  It is open to residents and non-residents of the hotel.  Open 7 days a week it serves home made Local Somerset Food.  Ingredients are grown in the Middlewick Kitchen gardens or are sourced from the surrounding farms in Wick and Somerset.  Indoors there is 60 seats and a further 60 seats outside.  Open for Breakfast and Lunch 7 Days a week from 8.30am – 5pm

Breakfast served 8.30am – 11.30am

Lunch from 12.00 noon until 3pm

Coffee, cakes, and drinks 8.30am – 5pm

Café with Indoor & Outdoor Seating

We are just a short walk from Glastonbury Town or Glastonbury Tor.  You are always welcome to park here to take a walk up the Glastonbury Tor.  Stop in on the way out or on the way back for a bite to eat and a drink. We are fully air conditioned, so the perfect place to get breakfast or lunch in the summer.

Head Chef Elliot and his team have created a menu to showcase the amazing Somerset Produce in our area.   In addition to our regular menus you will find daily specials using seasonal produce that comes from our gardens here at Middlewick.

We offer Organic coffee from a local Somerset Roast house.  There are also over 12 different types of tea to choose from plus local cold drinks including beers, wines and ciders.  Our cakes are made in our kitchen or have been sourced from local makers.  All of our food and drink is available to takeaway as well as to dine in.

We welcome well behaved dogs inside and outside at our cafe.  We even offer a dog menu which includes fish and chips and Sunday roast.   There are plenty of great walks to do before or after dining with us.

Accessible Access for Visitors to the Farm Shop and Cafe

We are pleased to be able to offer accessible access to the Farm Shop and Cafe here at Middlewick.  With 2 Disabled Car Parking spaces, an unloading area with ramp as well as a disabled toilet.  We also offer food options to those with dietary requirements.  If you  have any requests please do give us a call and we are happy to help if we can.

Middlewick makes the perfect stop for cyclists.  We are on the Number 3 SusTrans Route so a perfec stopover for short or long rides.  We are always happy to reserve tables if you are stopping for meals.  If you are stopping for drinks and cakes we have plenty of seats outside and in our farm shop.

Children are very welcome here with us.  We have high chairs to use.  With animals and outdoor space there is always something to entertain young ones here on our farm.  We offer a kids menu – just ask us for one when you arrive.  

The development of our new farm shop and café has been supported by the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

The project aims were to create a new and enlarged farm shop and café. To support tourist activity and the local community. To create new jobs and investment.
