What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.

Yes. We have two car parks on site, both free of charge for guests and visitors. EV charging points are available in the main car park.
Yes. A number of our cottages are dog-friendly and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our café and farm shop, both indoors and outside. Please check the individual cottage pages to confirm which properties accept dogs.
All accommodation(excluding our Glamping E-dens – see below) is self-catering and fully equipped with a kitchen, central heating, TV, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are provided. All guests have complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool during their stay. Towels for the swimming pool are not included.
The E-Dens are three self-contained glamping pods — Adam, Eve and Apple — set within the grounds of The Middlewick. Each pod has a double bed, its own private en-suite shower room with a lockable door, electric heating, double glazing and full insulation, making them suitable for year-round use. Each E-Den includes a mini-fridge, kettle, crockery, utensils, BBQ, table and chairs. Bedding and towels are provided. There are no televisions in the E-Dens. BBQ charcoal is available to purchase from the farm shop, and the on-site café serves breakfast and lunch daily. All cooking must take place outside the pod and away from the awning. E-Den guests have full use of the indoor swimming pool and all other Middlewick facilities during their stay. The E-Dens are dog-friendly.

The café and farm shop are open daily 8:30am–4:00pm. Food is served until 3:00pm. We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The café serves an all day brunch menu with both breakfast and lunch menu items.  Barista coffee, specialty hot drinks, homemade cakes and snacks available throughout the day.

The farm shop stocks locally sourced produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, meat, bread, beer, cider and wine . Dogs are welcome inside and outside at both the café and farm shop.

The spa is open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30am–5:30pm. Spa treatments and packages must be booked in advance via our online booking system, by calling 01458 258852, or by emailing spa@themiddlewick.co.uk.
Yes. The spa is open to both guests staying at The Middlewick and day visitors. We offer a range of spa day packages, individual treatments and spa breaks.
Yes. We have a range of accommodation that works well for groups, including Mendip View which sleeps 8. We also have flexible event and retreat spaces available to hire, including our Senary Space. For group bookings please contact us directly at hello@themiddlewick.co.uk.
We are located at the foot of Glastonbury Tor.  The Middlewick, Wick Lane, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 8JW.   Full directions by car, public transport and air are on our Contact Us page. The nearest train station is Castle Cary, approximately 12 miles away.
The pool is open 8.30 until 4:45pm daily.  Adult only swimming between 10am and 3pm.
Yes. Superfast, symmetrical fibre broadband is available across the entire site, including all accommodation. Upload and download speeds are equal, making it suitable for video calls, remote working and streaming.
The minimum stay for all accommodation is two nights. Longer minimum stays may apply during peak periods.  For one night stays please contact us and we can see what we can do for you.

Yes. Gift vouchers are redeemable against accommodation bookings, spa treatments and packages, and purchases in the farm shop and café. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note: spa vouchers cannot currently be redeemed online — please call 01458 258852 or email spa@themiddlewick.co.uk to book.

The site dates from the 17th century and some paths, doorways and staircases reflect the age of the buildings. We have made every effort to improve accessibility where possible. Full details are available on our Access Statement page. If you have specific requirements, please contact us before booking and we will advise on the most suitable accommodation.
Yes. We have two EV charging points located in the main car park, available to all guests. The chargers are compatible with Type 2 (Mennekes) 32A 7.2kW and require your own charging cable. A small usage fee applies. Charging points are operated via the EV Charge Online system — charge point IDs are available at reception.

Use of the indoor swimming pool is complimentary for all accommodation guests throughout their stay. The wider spa facilities, including treatments, packages and spa day experiences, are not included in the accommodation rate but are available to book separately. Staying guests can access our Avalon Pass.  This is a wonderful thermal experience of our shepherds hut sauna and steam room.  Guests are charged £10 per hour to use the facilities during spa opening hours and subject to availability.  To book or find out more please call 01458 258852 or email spa@themiddlewick.co.uk.
