The Annex Cottage
The Annex has a large open plan dining area and lounge with dining and seating area. There is a wood burner in the space which makes it very popular in the winter.
All on one level there is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and dishwasher.
Each of the 2 bedrooms is ensuite with shower/toilet. Both rooms can be made up as King Size beds or can be split to twin bedrooms. The largest bedroom can be turned into a triple bedroom if required with an extra single pull out bed.

Layout of The Annex Cottage
The large lounge has a wood burner which make it one of our most popular cottages in the winter. The wood burner keeps the cottage lovely and warm as well as providing a beautiful ambience to enjoy your stay. Wood is available from our farm shop.
The lounge has two sofas. Within the lounge is a dining area with a table and 4 chairs. Down a single step brings you to a newly renovated kitchen with plenty of space for cooking. There is a fridge and a freezer in this cottage. We have plenty of cookbooks in the Annex so combine that with the great Somerset produce in the farm shop and you will definitely be inspired to cook.
The two large bedrooms both have king size beds and plenty of space for a travel cot. One bedroom has French doors that lead out to a back garden. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower and toilet.
As well as the wood burner the Annex has central heating in the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge.

The History of The Annex Cottage
The Annex is situated in what was originally the milking parlor here at Middlewick Farm. This spacious 2 bedroom cottage with wood burner still retains the high vaulted ceilings that would have been in the barn along with a stone floor in the large lounge. French doors lead into the cottage from a communal courtyard which historically would have been a meeting place for the dairy herd. These days the courtyard is the meeting place for our guests on our summer pizza nights where we cook in our outdoor wood-burning pizza oven.
