Blenheim Cottage
From the kitchen down a corridor is the beautiful lounge with 2 large comfortable sofas to relax on. The original inglenook fireplace is in this lounge and as the fireplace in Bramley, it is rumoured to be made from original Glastonbury Abbey stone from the 16th Century. The fireplace is now capped and there is an electric fire effect heater for your use.
Throughout the cottage, there are exposed stone and stunning wooden beams. Fortunately, like most of the cottages headroom is not a problem for even the tallest people – Jonathan our resident 6′ 5″ owner has given it the tall man test.
All guests are able to take advantage of our wonderful gardens and fields and our amazing 360° views looking both up to Glastonbury Tor and over the Somerset Levels towards Wells. Our heated indoor swimming pool is open daily. Blenheim benefits from full central heating from our Bio-Mass boilers.

Layout of Blenheim Cottage
A staircase leads up to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The double bedroom faces the front of the property with views over the Mendips. An original fireplace is in this room but it too has been capped and is now for decoration only. Although not a huge bedroom there is sufficient space for a travel cot.
The single bedroom next door has a nice window overlooking the fields and the communal gardens. There is also a stunning view of the Glastonbury Tor. There is space for a pop up bed for a small child on request.
The bathroom is newly renovated with 5 star Laufen sanitary wear. There is a bathtub with an electric shower within.
Blenheim has full central heating from our Bio-Mass boilers. As part of the original Middlewick build in the early 1600’s Blenheim has very thick stone walls which help to make it lovely and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.
Bramley and Blenheim can be interlinked via a door in the rear hall which leads to the garden – This gives a larger Glastonbury Holiday Cottage making them perfect for those wishing to be together whilst maintaining the privacy option.

The History of Blenheim Cottage
Blenheim is a 2 bedroom Glastonbury Holiday Cottage which has been converted within the original 350 year old farm house. Entrance is off the main courtyard through a stable door which leads into a light and airy kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook with and you can visit our well stocked farm shop to pick up some great Somerset produce.
