What is a Heart Chakra
A Chakra is an energy centre within the human body.  It has been used in a variety of ancient mediation practices.  There are seven chakras throughout your body.

The Crown, the third eye, the throat, the heart, the Solar Plexus, the Sacral, and the Root Chakra.

The term chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel.”  Essential for life, they are seen as spinning, coloured wheels of energy.

The heart is considered so much more than an organ that circulates blood around the body.  It is also believed to be the centre of wisdom and spiritual knowledge. The Heart Chakra is a bridge between your mind, body, and spirit and is of course connected to love and compassion.

So what makes Glastonbury the Heart Chakra of the Earth?
It is believed that the Earth has energy lines that run around it and the heart energy is here in Glastonbury.

Whether you believe all this or not,  the one thing that we can all agree on is that Glastonbury is a very special place.

It is a magical and sacred little town that is loved by many so where better to spend the day of Love – Valentine’s Day.
