Taste the Landscape, the Somerset Food Trail

2018 was the first year of Taste the Landscape, the Somerset Food Trail that highlights the wonderful Local Food of Somerset.

The Food Trail saw farmers, food producers, and farm shops, as well as pubs, restaurants, and cafes share everything that is best about Somerset food.  Over a 10-day period,  From Friday, July 20th until Sunday, July 29th. The trail focused mainly on Mendip and the surrounding areas.

Check out the Food Trail page for details of PARTICIPATING VENUES.

You can also download a free map here.
The Middlewick Farm shop was one of the venues participating in the Food Trail (we were a bit late to get on the map so here is where we are:  Middlewick Farm Shop, Wick, Glastonbury)
We showcased our home-reared Wick beef, pork, and lamb, salads and flowers from our gardens plus our great selection of Somerset products. To sample some fantastic Somerset wine, beer, or cider why not come along and enjoy a drink in our beautiful gardens?
