We are very excited to announce that we were runners-up in the Business Events Venue of the Year Category at the Somerset Tourism Awards.
What makes a Business Events Venue? Well, that was the question I asked when I saw the category on the awards application form.
The category guidelines said the award:
‘Recognises business events venues that demonstrate an excellent understanding of the market, exceeding the expectations of their clients and have a strategic plan for future development within this area, with clear goals’. That seemed to be us here at Middlewick so I decided to enter.
We host so many different types of events here in Glastonbury. Most of them are not your ordinary business events. We have had big clients like the University of Bristol, National Trust, Hi-Tec, Aggregate Industries, PRS, and just as many small businesses that host their retreats and training courses here.
We have businesses that take over Middlewick to run fitness camps, church or choir gatherings, and yoga or craft retreats.

With a capacity for up to 200 people here on the farm, we are a very flexible solution for companies organising a venue for their event. We can bring in caterers to suit any budget or dietary requirement or alternatively we can allow you to bring your own team of people along.
Our group room is a blank canvas to design your own space. We have seen it transformed into a sales room, into a mosque, yoga room, workspace, nightclub, just about anything is possible.
