This month Integra Baby Carrier was awarded the Best Carrier for Walking by Green Parent Magazine.
Sarah Sadler who owns the company is a regular visitor to Middlewick. She shares her memories of baby carrying up Glastonbury Tor with us here on the Middlewick Blog.
Made in Somerset, my baby carrier brand Integra Baby has been judged the ‘Best for Walks’ by Green Parent Magazine. Integra Baby is multi-award winning and offers optimal support for the baby and wearer. It is compact and extremely easy to use. I am the longest-practicing Babywearing Consultant in the UK.
My memory bank is packed full of precious family stomps through the fields of Glastonbury. As loyal returning visitors to Middlewick, I have a strong connection to the pathways and routes that connect it to the town. I have comfortably carried my three babies through toddlerhood and beyond throughout our many rambling Glastonbury adventures.
Carrying them was an integral part of our journeys and quality time spent. Whether we were running through orchards, flying kites or just following our feet, it would have been very different without the freedom of ‘off-roading’ it with a supportive carrier.
Not least for when it seems that your little one may somewhat ruin the vibe due to tired grisliness – only to end up falling asleep in the carrier for a much needed nap. A sleeping bub in a carrier is THE perfect time to grab a tea and cake in the many awesome eateries in the town. Or peruse the gift shops which can sometimes be challenging to contemplate with the toddler in tow or indeed with a buggy.
Some of my most treasured and coveted possessions were found in the secretive and hard-to-find corners of Glastonbury shops and markets.
Our very first trip to the Tor was memorable, perhaps for the wrong reasons. We took the buggy. And anyone who knows the Tor knows it is really not ideal for negotiating with a buggy!
Here at Middlewick, we offer baby equipment to help you during your stay. You can borrow an Integra Carrier so you don’t have to push the buggy up the hill. We also offer Travel Cots, High Chairs, and Stair Gates. We are also there if you need any assistance during your stay with your baby. Just don’t get Jill talking about her Green Baby days and her Green Parenting book.
