At Middlewick Farm, we know that holidays are better when the whole family comes along — and that includes your dogs! As proud dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find somewhere that truly welcomes your four-legged friends. That’s why we’ve created the perfect blend of dog friendly and pet-free accommodation, so every guest feels right at home.
Choose from our dog friendly cottages and glamping stays – Appletree, Annex, Springfield, Pippin, Tor View, Cabin, Mendip View, and our three Glamping E-dens – all designed with comfort, space, and easy access to walks and countryside adventures. For guests who prefer a pet-free environment, the beautiful original farmhouse remains a no-dogs area, offering a peaceful retreat for everyone.
Our Middlewick Farm Shop and Café is one of Glastonbury’s favourite dog friendly cafés, where you and your pup can enjoy a delicious meal together. We even have a dedicated dog menu, so your furry friend can dine in style while you sample our freshly prepared local dishes.
Need some pampering? Head to the Middlewick Spa, where dogs are welcome too. You can enjoy your treatment in the Spa Lounge with your pet by your side, or let them relax outside on the sunny deck beside the Shepherds Huts.
Step outside Middlewick and you’ll find Glastonbury and Somerset bursting with dog friendly pubs, cafés, and shops, along with endless countryside trails and scenic walks. Whether you’re exploring the Tor, visiting local attractions, or just soaking up the Somerset countryside, there’s so much to enjoy on your family holiday with dogs.
Bring the whole family — two-legged and four-legged — for an unforgettable dog friendly holiday in Glastonbury, Somerset at Middlewick Farm.
We know that your dog is part of the family, and we love welcoming four-legged guests here at Middlewick Farm. When booking your stay, please let us know if you’ll be bringing your dog along. This helps us make sure you’re placed in one of our dog friendly cottages or glamping stays.
To keep things comfortable for everyone, we usually allow a maximum of two dogs per family. However, if you’re planning to bring more, just let us know in advance — we’re always happy to see what we can do.
We do ask for a small one-off charge to cover the extra cleaning required after a pet stay:
£15 per dog for stays of 4 nights or less
£25 per dog for longer stays
Your dogs will love exploring our dog friendly grounds and the beautiful Somerset countryside — and we’ll make sure they feel just as welcome as you do!
We absolutely love welcoming dogs to Middlewick Farm — after all, holidays are better when your four-legged friends can come too! While we like to keep things relaxed, there are just a few simple rules we ask you to follow so that everyone — guests, pets, and animals — can enjoy their stay.
Please keep your dog on a lead at all times when walking around the Middlewick complex and in the café area. There are lots of tempting scents (and a mischievous resident cat who loves to test his nine lives!), so this helps keep everyone safe and happy. Once you’re out exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside, you’ll find plenty of walks where your dog can roam freely off the lead.
We kindly ask that you clean up after your dog immediately. Please don’t let them out to do their business unsupervised, and avoid leaving bags outside your cottage. You’ll find a dog waste bin in the car park — please use it to keep our farm clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Please don’t leave your dog alone in your cottage. Being in a new place can be stressful for them, and we want all our guests — furry and otherwise — to feel comfortable. If you need to go out, there are lots of dog friendly attractions, cafés, and pubs in Glastonbury and Somerset where your pup can join you.
We know it can be hard, but please try to keep dogs off the furniture. If your dog is a sofa surfer, we completely understand — just bring along a blanket to protect the upholstery.
Before departure, please remove as much dog hair and mud as possible from the cottage. If you’ve used the shower to wash your dog after a walk, a quick clean-up goes a long way — our housekeeping team will thank you!
For everyone’s comfort, please make sure your dog’s flea and tick treatments are up to date. We also recommend having liability insurance that covers your pet during your stay.
Please note that The Middlewick cannot accept responsibility for any injury, damage, or claims resulting from the actions of your dog while on site.
