2025 Tourism Awards Success

We’re excited to announce that The Middlewick has been awarded Bronze in the Café & Tearoom of the Year category at the Bristol, Bath, Somerset & Gloucestershire Tourism Awards 2025!

The Bristol, Bath, Somerset & Gloucestershire Tourism Awards shine a spotlight on the best of the region’s tourism and hospitality industry, recognising excellence in areas such as customer service, sustainability and community engagement.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have reached the finals. To be recognised alongside some of the best cafes and tearooms in the region is a huge honour and a testament to the hard work of our amazing team and the support of our local community.”

Members of The Middlewick team attended the award ceremony in Bath in November, where we celebrated the best of the best of the region’s tourism businesses. It was so inspiring to rub shoulders with the passionate people behind hospitality in Bath, Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

The awards mean a lot to the teams behind these (usually small) businesses; it was clear that for many of them, tourism and hospitality is a passion as much as it is a profession. And, the dress code — Sustainably Stylish — was very much up our street as an eco friendly business. We want to extend our congratulations to all of this year’s winners.

Nell Barrington, Awards Director, said:

“It was a brilliant celebration with such a positive atmosphere. Our winners were outstanding and really show what makes this region so special. Huge congratulations to them all and thank you to all our loyal supporters and sponsors. Thanks also to everyone who supported our raffle, and who gave incredible prizes. We raised an amazing £2,000 to support our charity sponsor Age UK Somerset.”
